This was a surprise to Cap tain Mossman. He was not advised a to the evidence of guilt produced at the examination, but ho is thoroughly convinced of the guilt of the accused. The fact Is undisputed that cattle with mutilated brands were found in the Uuacbuca mountains uhich had beon driven by somebody from the vi cinity of Duncan, where they belonged.
