HOME DEPARTMENT. SATURDAY MORNING, SEPTEMHER 25, 1852. A younq man named Charles Capehart, was ar rested yesterday, charged with obtaining money under false pretences, by collecting subscriptions which he represented were for the Fire Companies of the city. He obtained from a member of the First Ward Company a subscription paper and al ter collecting considerable funds was called upon for it, when he equivocated about delivering it, hut finally returned it with part of the names torn off. He th? n prepared another paper on his '-own hook," setting f nth a solicitation of all the fire Companies for money to defray the expenses of li t Kircinen's parade, oil which he obtainedsome^i!, 50.
