LOCAL MATTERS. The Unicorn.— This steamer returned to her anchorage in this harbor on the 15th instant after a trip to Benicia. In going up she broke some portion of ono of her engine* and came down with one wheel. A numerous party of ladies and gentlemen went up in her, in whose honor Commodore Junes gave a grand ball aboard the Savannuh. Lumber. —It is estimated that overtime million feet of Lumber arrived in the port of Franeiso from the I'nited Mates since last Saturday morning.
