Mr. Kinder occu pied the chair, and there was a really good attendance, showing the interest which is now being taken in'making the institution a credit to the town. Present-Messrs. Kinder, locake, Ferguson, Harris, English, ,Laidlaw, McITntosh, Cavanagh, Tulloch, Samuels, Coon, B. Turnley, C. Turnley. J. Robinson and Nind. . The minutes of the 'previous meeting were read and confirmed, and a long discussion ensued as to the advisability of amending rule 3 which reads: " The committee shall consist of .members who have signed the guarantee to the bank for the overdrfmit. and five nd!itional members to be elected at a p,!bltic meeting called for the purpose. and shall hohl office till general meeting in April.
