GRANVILLE STREET LAMPS. The Secretary, Parramatta Elec tric Supply Co. Ltd., has advised Granville Council that the estimated cost of 50 c.p. street lamp at the corner 0/ Rawson Road and Ferndell street, and one at the corner of Wel lington Road and Clyde-street to gether, is £163/13/8. Marks, I called at Mrs. Moore's house in Hassall-st., West mead, and found that current was being used. This service was dis connected on 23rd. December, on account of the electricity account for September quarter not being paid. This was done by O. Marks, who sealed the fuse box after hav ing removed the fuse, but left no notice to the effect that the supply had been disconnected, the customer being out at the time. Mrs. Moore explained that she found the light off on the date mentioned, and got he son to re-connect same. ' This necessitated breaking the council's fuse seal, which she claims she was unaware was an offence. Mr. Moore has admitted that hp has unintentionally done wrong, and is prepared to pay for any dar done, and I have accepted a cheqn .for £3 from him to cover such dam age, connection fee and the quart er's unpaid account, anto^ have left him connected."
