AT HEADQUARTERS. AUSTRALIA AND THE PRIVY COUNCIL. A good attendance greeted Com rade J. 0. Moroney on Sunday last. In dealing with the above subject he pointed his remarks principally to the judicial ulaii.sud in the Federal Bill, enumerating the tremendous powers given to the Federal Court.' The objections on which the League based its opposition to the Bill dur ing the progress of the Federal cam paign and the two Referendums, were discoursed upon. He still voiced the opinions of the League as to its un democratic and reactionary provisions — this to make cl ar his remarks on the pre^eAt position in connection with the ameidmen'a proposed by Chamberlain in the Bill before the British Parliament. He .said the Aus tralian people having accepted the Bill as being made in Australia, should op pose any attempt to amend it outside of Australia.
