FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS. mere is no aount tnat the "Triangle" at Mount Barker is now a perfect picture, thanks to the ef forts of the Mount Barker Progress Association. But this body is not yet satisfied with what has been done. At the last meeting of the association it was decided to erect another swing for the use of children. This struc ture will be different in design to the ordinary swinging apparatus, and will be similar to that on the Milang Recreation Ground and will accommo date several children at one time. An inspection of the "Triangle" was made on Monday night with.a view of noting further necessary improve ments.

MURRAY BRIDGE PROGRESS ASSOCIATION. The monthly meeting of the Mur ray Bridge Progress Association was held in the Institute on Tuesday, March 8, when the president (Mr. P. Jenkins), occupied the chair, and there was a representative attendance. "It was resolved that the Rowing Club be invited to meet the subcom mittee at the Progress Association with a view to deciding the kind of fence to be erected at the proposed baths. The provisions of the Hedlti Act, in case of infectious diseafee occurring make the bead of the ■family, or nearest relative or guardian responsible for immediately reporting "the case; to the Local Board of. Health. Further, no person suf fering from an infectious disease or being in contact with a person so suf fering shall expose himself in any public place, enter any place of com mon resort-or any public conveyance. ".Faflure to observe these provisions renders the o'ifenaer liable to a fine of £5, and the Murray Bridge Local Board of Health has issued circulars notifying ifi'at the regulations will be rigidly enforced.
