AMUSEMENTS. [Newspaper Article] — Auckland Star — 16 November 1909

AMUSEMENTS. "A BACHELOR'S HONEYMOON. I There was another crowded audience at His yiajesty's Theatre last night, when the Hugh Ward Comedy Company gave their second performance of " A Bachelor's Honeymoon." This delightful comedy gets a firm grip of the audience on the rise of the curtain, when "the slavey," Marianne (Miss Rose Musgrove), is disclosed poring over a tattered volume of " Sherlock Holmes," and goes rollicking on, piling up complication upon complication, and eliciting shrieks of laughter, till the humour of the thing seems unlimited, hut still it continues, and one realises at the end that this sort of thing has been going on for three hours, and so far as thought of time goes, it might have been ten minutes. We have already alluded to the excellence of the cast, and the audience last night were evidently thoroughly pleased on thi a score, for| applause was enthusiastically and ge...

A number of Interesting gymnastic displays were given by members of -the club. A NURSE'S SKIN TROUBLES. , r—• ZAM-BUK ENDS TERRIBLE DISFIGUREMENT. Such are the unique merits of Z&m- Buk, either as an ever-ready "first-aid'? or original skin cure, that nurses do not hesitate to use and recommend it, and always with a success surpassing their most sanguine expectations. Nurse Crouch, residing at 37, Alexan- Footscray, Vie, has recently met with remarkable proof of Zam-Buk's curative and healing virtues. For thirteen long years this lady suffered from disfiguring blotches, pimples, and redness of the face, which the repeated treatment of doctors and hospitals failed to cure, and the success achieved by Zam- Buk enhances still further the splendid reputation of this great skin-cure. Nurse Crouch says:—"For the past thir-' teen years I have been a sufferer from blotches, pimples, and redness on my face. I consulted doctors, but derived no benefit from their treatments. HEADACHE. ■ i I S THE FIRST SYMPTOM OF EVERT FORM OF DISEASE. Sick and nervous headaches are but the symptoms of other ailments to which they, are merely sympathic, such as Indigestion, Biliousness, Constipation or some other irregularity of the system. ' Many women habitually suffer from headaches, which make life a daily purgatory. Indeed, this. complaint may be regarded as peculiarly an affection of the feminine sex, an ailment common to all women from girlhood to old age. " For over twelve month's Dr. Morse's Indian Eoot Pills have been my sole medicine," says Mrs. Eliza Henry, Victoria-street, Auckland. " For years I have suffered from severe headaches, and although I tried many medicines nothing had the beneficial effect of Dr. Morse's Indian Root- Fills. My daughter was also a sufferer from Indigestion, and these pills have entirely cured her. We always keep a bottle in the house, and a dose occasionally keeps us in good health and regul...
