It has an idig indebtedness of $1,100,000 representing this plant and $850,000 "lost through mistakes," according Sctiuel Hill. The people of Seattle are asked to continue paying $2 for gas in order that interest may be lypaid on the actual capital invested in the plant and also on the much larger amount of capital alleged e^een lost. , The consumers of Seattle are willing to pay enough for gas to give the company money to pay inter |6St on $250,000, the proper capitalization. They are willing to pay enough to leave a fair margin of profit, •"hey cc not willing to be bled, however,in order that "lost capital" shall continue to draw interest.
