SEVERAL EMPLOYEES OF PROGRESS QUIT Lynchburg; Va.. April II.---(Special) The building occupied by the Morning News and the afternoon Advance was completely gutted by fire this morning about 7 o'clock, entailing a loss of approximately $80,000 on which there is insurance amounting to $70,000. The fire spread to an adjoining building occupied by the Tuxedo pool room, three floors over which were used by the Ainslie-Martin Hardware Co., for storage.
