WeIIford Receives Thirty Persons Into Membership at the First Presbyterian Church. Large Congregations. Large congregations attended both morning and evening services at the Baptist church Sunday. At the morning service the pastor, Rev. C C. Cox, preached a special sermon to the members of Bremond Lodge No. 241, A. F. & A. M., who attended in a body. His subject was "A Plumb Line," the text being Amos VII:7-7--"Thus He shewed me; and behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumb line with a plumb line in his hand. And the Lord said unto me, 'Amos, what-seest thou? And I said a plumb line. Then said the Lord, 'behold I will set a plumb line in the midst of my people.
