THE TRIBUNE. Great Fire at Vldubnrg HUl. Wo learn from the Vicksburg Whig or the 23rd ult. that one of the most destructive fires with which that city has ever been visited oc- curred there on the rooming of the 21st ult. It broke out about 3 o'clock in the morning in a wooden building at the corner of Washing- ton and GroTC streets occupied by Mr. C. S. Fields as a grocery store and before its cala- mitous career could be stayed no less than twenty-five buildings wero consumed. The havoc was confined principally to tho property within the square formed by Washington Grove China and Walnut streets. The loss is said to be immense.
