A fight occurred on tho 15th iust. near Fort Atkinson on tho Arkansas river some 250 miles Northwest of Gamp Radziuiii&ki. The bnttlo was fought by Jlaj. Van Dom Tho enemy was a largo band oi Comauchen. Msij. Van Dorn killed fifty Indians and made 33 prisoners. In the battle tho following named persons wero killed mid wounded viz : Soigeaut Lever- ctt and a piivatc whose nanio is not given; both of 13 Company' and fho wounded viz : Capt. E. K.
