Jiy the Central Train. Rosencranz Defeated &c. &c. The Central train got off the track to-day between Navasota and Courtney which caused a delay of two hours. From a gentleman direct from Jackson Mr. Benion who left Jackson Sept. 3u we learn that a dispatch arrived on the ad inst. nt Munroc giving an account of the defeat of Rosonorauz by Price who had been re- inforced. Price lost 500 and llosoneraz 5000 killed and wounded. Ilosencranz was completely routed. The battle between Price and Roscncranz was nine miles from Iuka nine miles from the river.
