BSaT" Tlio Publishing Committee of The Texas Christian Advocate at its recent meeting at Waco resolved on the resumption of the publication of the Advocate. Tin's action lmd been recommended by the Conference and as far as we can ascertain is the de- sire of the large body of the Ohuich in Texas. W ith no General Confer- ence to meet our wants no Bishop at our Annual Conferences a connection- nl bond is needed. The Advocate will in a measure supply this want. It will aid in arresting' the tendency to demoralization in our Church which all see and all deplore. It will spread in telligence of our labors and success ; will arouse the lukowann and cheer desponding he.iTts.
