June, shall not be al lowed to play with another senior club except (a) Hie furnishes the Permit Com nmittee with the written assurance that the Committee of his Club do not desire to play him again. Any pilyer feeling a:g grieved at being refused a clearance bytrhe Committee of his club shall have the right; of appeal to the Permit Committee, whif shall decide in the matter. BILLIARDS. We understand that a Handicap Billiard Tournament, will shortly take place, the date of which has not yet been decided, great interest is being taken in the matter, the manager Mr. Ball is doing all in his power to make it a success. Owing to want of space a large amount of sporting matter will be held over till our next issue. Mrs. Williams of the Royal Hotel has supplied the public of Sunbury, with a much felt want, she has gone to the expense of buildinig a large and spacions billiard-room, the room has been nicely fitted up with one of Alcock's Best Billiard Tables. The table has been well patronized during the past fortnight, and some good play has been shown.
