Advertise and Prosper. Here are sixteen good reasons why you should advertise:— [Newspaper Article] — Cobden Times — 17 August 1918

• Advertise and Prosper. Heru nre sixteen good .^reasons why yon should ndvci'tise :— 1. Honey investigated in judicious advertising is like a boomerang— it is bound to come back again with .redoubled power. 2. The most results don't come from the most expenditure. They come from the most intelligent expendi ture. 3. Advertise for business ; then advertise to make it better, then advertise to keep it. 4. Sit still, and your business will sit still too. 5. Advertising is not a necessity, neither is the telephone, nor the telegraph, nor the train ; but they are mighty convenient when you want to get there quick. C. There is no trade so settled hut a vigorous competitor may take it away by advertising. 7.'One or two insertions of an adver tisement seldom pay. It is the con secutive, 'e-mtinncua nnd persistent efforts (hat win in advertising, as in the affairs of i.;i-iness. 8. Advertise as you eat—regular and at reasonable quantity. 9. Advertise just as a farmer plants corn, not a big ...
