ATHliETIC NEWS . A well attended meeting of the Athletic Association , was held on Thursday afternoon in Brua Chapel . The object of the meeting was to decide whether or not we should be represented at the Inter-Collegiate Athletic Meet to be held in Philadelphia this Spring , under the auspices of the University of Pennsylvania . The good showing made by our relay team last year , has encouraged this branch of Athletics considerably , and it was unanimously decided to send the team to Philadelphia . Capt . Erb , as well as Mgr . Stifel of the track team , spoke very encouragingly concerning the chances of the team . We are classed with Franklin and Marshall , Bucknell , and Dickinson . An inter-class meet will be held on Nixon Field , on Saturday , April 3 rd , and valuable _prices for the winners have been secured through the generosity of the business men of the town .
