Mrs. de OHeviera entertained several friends of Miss Anna de Olivieia to dinner Sunday in honor of her daughter's departure. Miss de Olieviera will leave Thursday for Clarendon, Texas, where she will attend school during the re mainder of the winter. At the close of school Miss Anna will go to their ranch, and will not return here till late in the summer. Her many friends regret very much in deed that she is to leave, and wish her a profitable and pleasant term at school. DIVISION OPENED FROM TUCUMCARI TO 1)1 RAN Shop Force and Round House Men go to Work With Force of 125 Men TWENTY NEW LOCOMOTIVES The division is now opened from Tucumcari to Duran and twenty six crews were put to work here in the shops and roundhouse Monday or 125 aien, including 23 families This is a terminal division for 19 Southwestern engines off the main and 10 off the Dawson and 7 off the Rock Island, and means a pay roll of trainmen here totalling near ly two hundred. II. H. White who took Lindsey's place on Dec. 23rd is here and with Supt. Hawkes, Paxson, Supt. of Motive Power, and J. E. Mur phy Traveling Train Master, were interyiewed by our reporter and all of them agree that within the next sixty to ninety days Tucumcari's railway force should be doubled, and that the pay roll should reach to the neighborhood ot $60,000.00.
